Unit 1- Introduction of Emotional Intelligence
1.1 Emotions: Definition, Basic Emotions
1.2 Emotional Intelligence: Definitions, Nature & significance.
1.3 Theories of Emotional Intelligence: Ability, Mixed, Trait
1.4 Building blocks of emotional intelligence: self-awareness, self management, social awareness, and relationship management
1.5 Measurements of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)

Unit 2- Competencies for Emotional Intelligence 
2.1 Self-Awareness: Observing and recognizing one’s own feelings, Knowing one’s strengths and areas of development.
2.2 Self-Management: Managing emotions, anxiety, fear, and anger.
2.3 Social Awareness: Others’ Perspectives, Empathy and Compassion
2.4 Relationship Management: Effective communication, Collaboration, Teamwork and Conflict management
2.5 Application – Activities to development of emotional intelligence.
