29) Oliver Sacks: Case of Clive Wearing

A prominent musician of the time, Clive Wearing has a severe case of amnesia due to viral encephalitis. His inability to encode his accurate perceptions, as well some parts of his memory being fully functional, gave important insights to psychologists and neurologists about how memory functions and the parts of the brain most closely linked with these processes.
